NanoFlex Power Corporation is engaged in the development, commercialization, and licensing of advanced photovoltaic technologies that enable thin film solar products with industry-leading efficiencies, light weight, flexibility, and low total system cost. NanoFlex has the exclusive worldwide license to the intellectual property resulting from the Companys sponsored research programs, which have resulted in an extensive portfolio of issued and pending U.S. patents, plus their foreign counterparts. These patented and patent-pending technologies fall into two general categories (1) cost reducing and performance-enhancing fabrication processes and device architectures for ultra-high efficiency solar thin films and (2) organic photovoltaic materials, architectures, and fabrication processes for low cost, ultra-thin solar films offering highly flexible form factors and high quality aesthetics. NanoFlex is currently pursuing product development and commercialization on some of these technologies in collaboration with industry partners and potential customers.
